This long march started on December 6 from Turbat area of Ketch district of Makran division against the killing of four persons including Balach Baloch, a resident of Turbat who was arrested on charges of terrorism, in a police encounter.
The four persons were claimed to have been killed in an encounter on the night of November 22 by the Counter Terrorism Police Department (CTD). However, the family alleges that the four persons were killed in a fake police encounter.
According to Balach's father Moula Bakhsh, Balach was arrested and disappeared in front of his family on October 29 from his house in Absar area of Turbat, and then a few days later, he was arrested and presented in court.

The sit-in participants started a long march from Turbat on March 6 with demands such as disarming the CTD, stopping enforced disappearances and extrajudicial practices, and recovering the missing persons.
The march passed through Panjgur, Basima, Nal, Grisha, Khuzdar, Sorab, Kalat and Mastung and reached Quetta on December 11.- The Baloch Unilateral Committee started marching towards Islamabad after being denied permission to protest in Quetta. In Kohlu, Barkhan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa, the participants of the march received a big welcome.
A large number of relatives of the missing persons and women also participated in the protest. Organized by the Baloch Solidarity Committee, this march was led by Dr. Mah Rang Baloch and Sami Deen Baloch, daughter of the missing Dr. Deen Muhammad Baloch.
According to Mahrang, from Turbat to Islamabad, the administration tried to stop the march by erecting barriers at various places. Three cases have been registered against the participants of the march in Nal, Khuzdar and Kohlu.
