Gaza Strip's RAFAH (AP) — Over 20,000 Palestinians have died in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, according to health officials in the Gaza Strip, which is governed by Hamas.
The number, which represents less than 1% of the pre-conflict population in the region, is a fresh illustration of the horrifying cost of the conflict, which in less than ten weeks has uprooted more than 80% of Gaza's population and destroyed vast tracts of the tiny
