 Tour of Australia: Fast bowler Khurram Shahzad out of Test series due to injury Sports News


Pakistan cricket team's fast bowler Khurram Shahzad has been ruled out of the remaining two Test matches of the Test series against Australia due to injury.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Khurram Shahzad is facing pain in his rib and stomach.

Khurram Shahzad complained of a strain in his left side during the first Test match against Australia in Perth after which he was sent for an MRI scan.

The PCB will now consult with experts in Australia to establish the final protocol for Khurram Shehzad after which the fast bowler's treatment will begin at NCA Lahore.

Pakistani batsman Saud Shakeel has said while talking to the media on Thursday that "Khurram Shehzad bowled well in the first Test match, I am sorry that he is injured,

Saud Shakeel further said that we have bowlers like Mir Hamza and Hasan Ali who can take wickets in the Melbourne Test.
